About exploding head Emoji
Usage: Fire it off when a plot twist lands, a statistic shocks you, or a mundane thing suddenly makes total sense. It's a top reaction across TikTok, Reddit, and group chats for 'wait, WHAT?' moments. Also used self-deprecatingly for information overload, mental burnout, or being pleasantly overwhelmed by something impressive.
Approved in Unicode 10.0 in 2017 and an immediate hit as a reaction. Its explosion deliberately borrows the classic mind blown hand-gesture-and-explosion meme, translating a visual internet trope into a single glyph that needed no explanation from day one.
