رموز South American Flags التعبيرية، نسخ ولصق

South America has 12 independent countries, and each has a flag emoji: 🇦🇷 Argentina, 🇧🇴 Bolivia, 🇧🇷 Brazil, 🇨🇱 Chile, 🇨🇴 Colombia, 🇪🇨 Ecuador, 🇬🇾 Guyana, 🇵🇾 Paraguay, 🇵🇪 Peru, 🇸🇷 Suriname, 🇺🇾 Uruguay and 🇻🇪 Venezuela. Three territories round out the grid: 🇬🇫 French Guiana, which is part of France, and the British 🇫🇰 Falkland Islands and 🇬🇸 South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands. Mexico and Central America are not on this page; they belong to North America, and the islands are on our Caribbean flags page. For Copa América and World Cup qualifier posts, note that CONMEBOL has ten members: 🇬🇾 Guyana and 🇸🇷 Suriname play their football in CONCACAF, the North American zone.

الأسئلة الشائعة

How many South American flag emojis are there?

12 for the independent countries, and 15 if you count the territories 🇬🇫 French Guiana, 🇫🇰 the Falkland Islands and 🇬🇸 South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands. The grid above holds all 15.

Is there a Falkland Islands flag emoji?

Yes: 🇫🇰, spelled with the code FK. Unicode's emoji list names it Falkland Islands, so most keyboards find it under Falkland rather than Malvinas.

Why do the Colombia and Ecuador flags look the same?

Both use yellow, blue and red stripes with a double-height yellow band. Ecuador adds its coat of arms in the centre, which is only a few pixels wide at emoji size, so the two are easy to confuse in small text.

The three tricolours that get mixed up

🇨🇴 Colombia, 🇪🇨 Ecuador and 🇻🇪 Venezuela all use yellow, blue and red, inherited from Gran Colombia, the state the three formed until 1831. Colombia's flag is the plain one, with a yellow band twice the height of the other two. Ecuador uses the same stripes with its coat of arms in the centre, and Venezuela makes all three bands equal and adds an arc of eight white stars. At emoji size Ecuador's crest shrinks to a few pixels, so 🇨🇴 and 🇪🇨 are the pair most often sent by mistake. When it matters, add the country name after the flag.

French Guiana has its own flag, unlike St. Martin

French overseas territories are handled inconsistently. We hashed the flag artwork of four emoji sets on 2026-10-18. 🇲🇫 St. Martin and 🇨🇵 Clipperton Island were identical images to 🇫🇷 France in every set. 🇬🇫 French Guiana was not: all four draw it with its regional green and yellow flag and red star, even though the French tricolour is the territory's official flag. So the emoji shows what people there actually fly on their own buildings, not what the law says. None of the 15 flags on this page turned out to be a copy of another.

Brazil's stars and other details too small to see

🇧🇷 Brazil's real flag carries 27 stars arranged as the sky over Rio de Janeiro on the morning of 15 November 1889, plus the motto Ordem e Progresso. At the size emoji are drawn, none of that survives except a blue disc and a white band. 🇵🇾 Paraguay is the other curiosity: it is one of very few national flags with a different emblem on each side, and an emoji, having only one side, can never show both. 🇦🇷 Argentina's Sun of May, on the other hand, is large enough to read even at small sizes.
