You control the chaos by adding more marks for heavier distortion or fewer for a subtle flicker. Because the base letters stay intact underneath, readers can still make out the word while it appears to be melting or bleeding across the line โ the classic cursed-text aesthetic.
How the cursed effect is built
Each visible character sits at the bottom while the generator layers combining marks on top of it. Unicode defines hundreds of zero-width diacritics that render relative to the preceding letter, so piling several onto one character makes it spill upward and downward. The base letter never changes โ only the invisible marks accumulate.
