Complete coverage is rarer than it sounds
Only about a quarter of the supported emoji mix with everything. Most top out somewhere in the 300s or 400s, and the ones that reach 619 tend to be simple shapes that compose well with anything: fire, tornado, mask, the mouse trap. Eye belongs to that group for an obvious reason. A single eye can be laid over almost any artwork without fighting it. Compare that to deer, where the antlers have to go somewhere, and you can see why the coverage differs so much.
Why the last few additions are single stickers
Eye's most recent release, on 29 April 2026, added exactly one pairing. So did the one before it. That is what the end of a build-out looks like: once an emoji covers nearly everything, each new release only has to fill whatever base emoji Google added since. Those trickle entries are a reliable signal that an emoji is finished rather than neglected, and they are easy to confuse with the flat histories of emoji that stalled early.

Eye Emoji Kitchen FAQ
Does eye really mix with every emoji?
Yes. Eye has 619 pairings and Emoji Kitchen supports 619 base emoji, so every combination in the grid above resolves to a real sticker. It is one of roughly 159 emoji with complete coverage.
What is the difference between the eye and eyes emoji?
They are separate Unicode characters with separate Emoji Kitchen entries. The single eye is the one on this page. The pair of eyes has its own combination set, and the two do not share stickers.
Why do some eye stickers look almost unchanged?
When the partner is a small or faint object, the combined sticker keeps most of the eye artwork and adds a detail. That is the trade-off for universal coverage: every pairing produces something, but not every pairing produces something dramatic.
